Indications

Meticol oral drops are indicated for the treatment of dyspeptic disorders, gastrointestinal meteorism, aerophagia, and gas colic in infants, children, and adults.

Composition

Simethicone in olive oil, vitamin A, vitamin E, and coenzyme Q. No preservatives, flavorings, sweeteners, or sugars. Gluten-free.

Directions for use and Dosage

Shake well before use. Close the bottle after use.
Adults: 20-40 drops, possibly diluted in liquid, 2-4 times a day, preferably after meals or as directed by your doctor.
Children: 20 drops, preferably after meals and possibly diluted in liquid 1-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
Infant: 20 drops, preferably after meals and possibly diluted in liquid 1-2 times a day or as directed by your doctor.

Warnings

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components.
The product may have two phases: after shaking, it should appear as a homogeneous emulsion.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use the product after the expiry date; the expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Do not use the product if the package is damaged. All product components, including the dropper, must be intact. After a short period of treatment (7 days) without noticeable results, consult your doctor. In case of an adverse reaction, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor to establish appropriate treatment. During use, if you suspect accidental contamination of the dropper, wash it thoroughly before returning it to the appropriate bottle to prevent possible contamination.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects. However, it is important to report to your doctor or pharmacist the appearance of side effects not described in the package leaflet.
Interactions with other medications are not known or have been reported. No incompatibilities with other pharmaceutical products have been reported.
There are no adequate data on the use of the product in pregnant women, therefore it should not be used unless clearly necessary and after evaluation by a doctor.
It is not known whether simethicone is excreted in breast milk, therefore it should not be used unless clearly necessary after evaluation by a doctor.
No effects on the ability to drive or use machines have been reported.
