Mepitel® One is a gentle wound contact layer with Safetac®, the original adhesive silicone contact layer that minimizes pain.
It is designed to gently mold to the skin without sticking to the moist wound so that it can be used as a dressing. can be removed easily without damaging the skin.
Safetac® protects new tissue and intact skin, without disturbing the wound, accelerating its natural healing.
Furthermore, it seals the edges of the wound to protect the skin from exudate leakage and maceration.
Mepitel® One is A wound contact layer designed to manage a wide range of exuding wounds such as:
- painful wounds
- skin lacerations
- skin abrasions
- surgical incisions
- partial-thickness burns
- traumatic wounds
- blistering
- lacerations
- partial- and full-thickness grafts
- leg and foot ulcers.
It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and fragile skin areas.
The open structure of Mepitel® One allows topical ointments to pass through the wound where clinically indicated.
How to Use Instructions for use and dosage
Wound preparation: Thoroughly cleanse the wound. The surrounding skin must be clean and dry.
Dressing application: Open the package and remove the dressing under aseptic conditions.
Immediately apply the dressing to the clean and disinfected wound.
