Product Description

Menthol powder.

Indications

Menthol Skin Powder 1% is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of skin rashes due to exanthematous diseases, irritation, including rubbing, itching and burning in case of insect bites, sunburn and burns.

Composition

Active ingredients: Menthol.
Excipients: Talc powder.

Directions for use and Dosage

Sprinkle evenly over the affected area 2 or more times a day.

Warnings

The medicine must be used externally only; it must not be inhaled and must not be applied to eyes and mucous membranes.
It must not be applied to open wounds or surgical gloves.
The medicine should be used with caution in children up to 6 years of age.
Routine use in daily hygiene of children is not recommended as inhalation can cause lung irritation with the risk of serious breathing difficulties and death.
If it is suspected that the child has inhaled the medicine, respiratory function must be carefully monitored as the onset of symptoms may be delayed by several hours.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no clinical data on exposed pregnancies for menthol.
Caution should be exercised when prescribing the medicine to pregnant women.

Storage

None in particular.
Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C.
