Melgisorb® Ag is an antimicrobial alginate dressing for situations where antimicrobial action is required to reduce bacterial load.
Melgisorb Ag is an antimicrobial alginate dressing indicated for the management of moderate to highly exuding wounds, including the reduction of bacterial load.
Melgisorb Ag is indicated for the management of all moderately to heavily exuding partial- or full-thickness wounds, including post-operative wounds, trauma wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft and donor sites, cavity wounds, superficial burns, and partial-thickness burns.
Because it contains alginate, Melgisorb Ag may help control minor bleeding in superficial wounds. This product can also be used under compression bandages.
Melgisorb Ag can be used in the management of infected wounds or wounds at increased risk of infection, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
How to use Directions for use and dosage
Apply after cleaning and disinfecting the wound.
