Meclon 200 mg/10 ml + 1 g/130 ml Vaginal Solution

Indications

Adjuvant in the treatment of common vaginal infections based on Clotrimazole and metronidazole. In the initial phase of treatment, vaginal lavage must be combined with local and/or oral therapy.
It is useful for the prevention and recurrence of numerous vaginal infections such as: cervicitis, cervicovaginitis, vaginitis, and vulvovaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis, also associated with Candida albicans, Gardnerella vaginalis, and other sensitive bacterial flora.
These infections are often associated with typical vaginal symptoms/disorders such as itching, burning during urination, abundant and/or unusual vaginal discharge, redness, and pain during sexual intercourse.

Directions for use

The recommended dose is 1 bottle once a day, preferably in the morning.
In the initial phase of treatment, it is recommended to combine vaginal douching with local and/or oral therapy, as advised by your doctor.
For correct use:

• Open the bottle and the vial;
• Pour the contents of the vial into the bottle;
• Insert the vaginal cannula onto the bottle;
• Gently insert the cannula into the vagina and administer the entire contents by applying light, constant pressure on the bottle. Empty slowly for greater effectiveness.
• It is recommended to lie on your back with your legs apart and bent.

Composition

10 ml bottle:
Active ingredient: clotrimazole.
Excipients: ricinoleic alcohol, ethanol, purified water.
10 ml of solution contains 200 mg of clotrimazole.
130 ml bottle:
Active ingredient: metronidazole.
Excipients: sodium methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.
130 ml of solution contains 1 g of metronidazole.

Warnings

Do not exceed the daily dose. Recommended.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Avoid treatment during menstruation.
Do not take if you are hypersensitive to any of the components (active ingredients, ingredients).
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use the medicine only if strictly necessary and after consulting your doctor.
