Indications

Ltf is an ophthalmic solution containing hypromellose, which lubricates and hydrates the ocular surface. The formulation also contains lactoferrin, a substance normally present in tear fluid, which by modulating the presence of iron helps inhibit microbial growth. Ltf is useful in all cases of alteration of the tear film, caused by exposure to sunlight, wind, air conditioning and the use of digital screens.

Composition

Hypromellose, lactoferrin, sodium N-hydroxymethylglycinate, EDTA disodium salt, potassium hydrate, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. Keep the bottle upside down; between the thumb and fingers.
2. Lower the lower eyelid and place the tip of the bottle near the ear without touching.
3. Apply the recommended drops and close your eyes gently to distribute the product evenly on the ocular surface.
4. Press your finger on the inner corner of the eye towards the nose and hold it for 1 minute, keeping the eye closed.

Warnings

• In very rare cases, in patients with severely damaged ocular surface, the use of ophthalmic solutions containing phosphates has been associated with corneal calcification. Therefore, consult your specialist before administering the product in case of band keratopathy or calcium deposits on the cornea.
• The product is sterile until opened;
• Avoid contact of the tip of the bottle with eyes, surrounding surfaces, hands or other surfaces, to avoid contamination of the solution;
• Reclose the bottle tightly after use;
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components;
• Do not use the product if the package is not intact;
• In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor;
• Protect from heat sources and keep out of reach of children;
• Do not ingest;
• Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package;
• Dispose of any remaining product properly in the separate waste collection;
• In case of persistent problems, consult your eye doctor;
• Do not use the product continuously for more than 30 days.

Storage

Store the product at a temperature below +30°C.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 30 days.
