Product Description

Onilaqare Nail Polish is indicated for treating nail fungus caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds.

Indications

Onilaqare Nail Fungus Polish can also be used with colored nail polish: simply apply the product and, after letting it dry for at least 10 minutes, you can use any colored nail polish you like. Women can treat nail fungus without sacrificing the beauty of their nails.

When one or more nails are attacked by fungus, they generally become opaque, stained, or discolored, turning yellow, green, or brown. Affected fingernails or toenails become thicker, have an irregular surface, and flake, break, or become jagged more easily as the infection worsens. In more severe cases, the nail polish may be removed. If the fungal infection is left untreated for a long time, the nail may become severely damaged.

How to use

Apply Onilaqare to the affected nails once a week. Before starting the first treatment, clean the nails thoroughly. Remove any layers of previously applied nail polish with nail polish remover; then, using a nail file, file the nail surface (especially the affected nail) as thoroughly as possible. Be careful not to file the skin around the nail.
The nail surface must be clean and degreased using one of the cleansing pads (supplied).
Using one of the reusable spatulas provided, apply the polish to the entire nail surface. Between applications, clean the spatula with the provided cleaning pad to avoid contaminating the nail polish. Do not rub the spatula on the edge of the bottle itself.
The spatula must be thoroughly cleaned with a cleaning pad after each application before treating another nail to avoid contaminating the polish.
If the polish comes into contact with the outside of the cap, clean with the provided cleaning pad to avoid contact with the skin.
Keep the bottle tightly closed.
Repeat the process for each affected nail. It is important to wash your hands after each application of Onilaqare. If applying to fingernails, wait until the polish is completely dry before washing. Treatment must be continued without interruption until the nail has regenerated. In general, 6 months of treatment are required for fingernails and 9 months for toenails (the duration depends essentially on the intensity, location, and extent of the infection). After 3 months of treatment without results, consult your doctor.

Warnings

Avoid any contact of the medicine with eyes, ears, or mucous membranes. Establish treatment in patients with peripheral vascular disease, diabetes, immune system diseases, as well as in patients with nail dystrophy or severely damaged nails (with lesions exceeding two-thirds of the nail plate). In these cases, systemic therapy should be considered. Patients with a history of lesions, skin conditions such as psoriasis or other chronic skin conditions, edema, respiratory problems (yellow nail syndrome), painful nails, distorted/deformed nails, or other symptoms should consult their doctor before starting treatment. Do not apply cosmetic nail polish or other cosmetic products to treated nails during treatment. In the absence of clinical data, the use of the drug is not recommended in patients under 18 years of age.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

No effects of amorolfine are expected during pregnancy and breastfeeding since the level of systemic exposure following its therapeutic use is extremely low. Amorolfine can therefore be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage

Check the expiry date indicated on the package. The expiry date indicated on the package refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly. Keep the bottle away from heat sources. Close the bottle tightly after use. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.

Composition

Active ingredient: 5% w/v (50 mg/ml) amorolfine as amorolfine hydrochloride
Excipients: Methacrylic acid copolymer type A (EUDRAGIT RL100), Triacetin, Butyl acetate, Ethyl acetate, Absolute ethyl alcohol.
