Indications

Treatment of vaginitis and vulvovaginitis in general, as the lactobacilli present in them, implanting and multiplying on the vaginal mucosa, in addition to restoring balance to the bacterial flora together with the species of bacteria that normally inhabit certain environments (intestine, mouth, vagina).... Read more autochthonous, they antagonize, indirectly by competition, colonization by pathogenic germs. Topical therapy of vaginal infections caused by pathogenic germs; particularly in vaginitis associated with ovarian failure, hypofolliculin leukorrhea, infantile vaginitis, senile vaginitis, vulvar itching, vaginal dystrophy. It is also used as an adjuvant in chemotherapy and antibiotic treatment for Trichomonas vaginitis.

Ingredients and composition

Active ingredients • Each vaginal capsule contains: Active ingredient: Lactobacillus plantarum P 17630 at least 108 CFU

Excipients • Each vaginal capsule contains: Sodium ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate - Sodium propyl p-hydroxybenzoate - Medium-chain triglycerides - Silica (Aerosil 300) - Gelatin - Glycerol - Dimethylpolysiloxane - Titanium dioxide (E 171) - Lactose - Cryoprotectant (Skimmed milk powder - Sucrose - Sorbitol - Sodium ascorbate - Tween 80).

Dosage

One vaginal capsule per day. Directions for use: Insert one capsule deeply into the vagina, in a supine position, in the evening before going to bed.

Warnings

The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena and produce side effects. In this case, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. LJLACTO does not replace antibiotic or chemotherapy therapy, but represents a useful complement to them by restoring the physiological conditions of the vaginal environment, especially at the end of specific treatment. Keep the medicine out of the reach and sight of children.

Pregnancy

Lactobacillus plantarum is a regular non-pathogenic guest of the vagina, therefore LJLACTO can be used during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.

Storage

Store the medicine at a temperature between + 2°C and + 8°C.
