Product Description

Hypertonic ophthalmic solution 5% for the treatment of corneal edema.

Indications

Hypertonic ophthalmic solution for the treatment of corneal edema that occurs following mechanical, toxic, dystrophic or inflammatory damage.
By making the cornea hypertonic, it draws, through an osmotic effect, excess water from the corneal tissue, reducing the edematous state.

Indicated for:

• visual discomfort, burning, eye irritation caused by corneal edema;
• in case of abnormal accumulation of fluids caused by corneal edema, in the presence or absence of inflammation or contusive trauma after refractive or ophthalmic surgery, cataracts, transplants, retinal detachments, corneal transplants, endothelial disorders corneal and in all dystrophic, mechanical, toxic and inflammatory corneal disorders.

Composition

Riboflavin sodium phosphate (0.075%), sodium chloride (5%), vitamin E TPGS, sodium hyaluronate, L-proline, L-glycine, L-leucine, L-lysine hydrochloride, dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, purified water.

Preservative-free.

How to use

1. Open the bottle and remove the protective cap.
2. Gently squeeze the bottle and instill 2 drops in each eye; Repeat the operation as needed.

Warnings

• The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
• The product is for single-patient use.
• Do not use in cases of known intolerance or hypersensitivity to its components.
• Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date.
• In case of problems during use, stop treatment and consult a doctor.
• During application of the product, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the dispenser.
• The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
• The solution may stain surfaces and fabrics.
• In rare cases, corneal microcalcifications have been observed in patients with previous corneal diseases and treated with ophthalmic preparations containing phosphates. In this case, it is advisable to use the product under the supervision of your doctor.

Storage

Store away from heat sources and in any case at temperatures below 25°C.
After use, close the bottle immediately; any remaining contents can be reused for up to three months after opening.
