Lacrisun Antiox is an antioxidant ophthalmic solution that protects the lens from photo-oxidative damage and combats ocular aging.
Indications
Antioxidant ophthalmic solution based on 0.05% riboflavin sodium phosphate, vitamin E TPGs, MSM, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid.
Lacrisun Antiox counteracts the stiffening of the lens caused by photo-oxidative action, slowing down the aging process.
Lacrisun Antiox protects the ocular lens from photo-oxidative damage, helping to maintain its total antioxidant capacity.
Lacrisun Antiox counteracts the formation of free radicals, which are also responsible for lens opacification.
Lacrisun Antiox can be used by contact lens wearers.
Composition
Active ingredients
Riboflavin sodium phosphate 0.05%, Vitamin E Tpgs, Methyl sulfonyl methane, Sodium hyaluronate, L-proline, L-glycine, L-leucine, L-lysine hydrochloride.
Excipients
Sodium chloride, Sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, Sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, Water purified.
Directions for use and dosage
- Open the bottle and remove the protective cap.
- Gently squeeze the bottle and instill 1-2 drops in each eye; Repeat as needed.
- After use, close the bottle: the remaining contents can be reused for up to 3 months after first opening.
- Can be used with contact lenses.
Warnings
- The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- The product is for single-patient use.
- During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing tip of the container.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.

Contraindications

Side effects
- In rare cases, corneal microcalcifications have been observed in patients treated with previous corneal diseases and treated with ophthalmic preparations containing phosphates. In this case, discontinue treatment immediately and consult your doctor.
Storage
- Close the bottle immediately after use.
