Lacrinorm Gel is used to disinfect the ocular mucosa. The drug is a lubricant, a wetting agent for the eye with lacrimal insufficiency (Dry Eye Syndrome).

Dosage and Directions for Use

Lacrinorm Gel is administered according to the following doses: 1 drop in the conjunctival sac 3-4 times a day (the last one before going to bed).

During application, hold the tube perpendicular and not oblique, because only in this way will you obtain a regular drop.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the components.
• Do not use Lacrinorm while wearing contact lenses, but between one wearing and the next.
• If using, wait 15 minutes before putting the contact lenses back in.

Special warnings

Do not use for prolonged treatments; it is advisable to consult a doctor after a short period of treatment without appreciable results. Accidental ingestion of some disinfectants can have serious, sometimes fatal, consequences. The product is for external use only; the use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena; in this case, the treatment must be stopped and it is advisable to consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no limitations on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Expiry and storage
Check the expiry date indicated on the package. The expiry date indicated on the package refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly. The product must not be used more than 30 days after first opening the container.

Warning: do not use the medicine after the expiry date indicated on the package.

Composition
Lacrinorm Gel contains:
Active ingredient: Benzalkonium chloride 0.01 g; Polyacrylic acid 0.2 g
Excipients: Sorbitol; water for injections.
