Ophthalmic solution with 0.2% hyaluronic acid, useful in cases of irritation and dryness of the eye.
Indications
Sterile solution for ophthalmic use at physiological pH containing pharmaceutical-grade hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), a polymer normally present in various areas of the human body. Hyaluronic acid has viscoelastic, muco-mimetic, and mucoadhesive properties that improve the stability of the tear film and keep the ocular surface lubricated and hydrated. It does not contain preservatives and/or molecules with anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive action.
It hydrates and lubricates the eye and therefore provides relief to the eyes in case of irritation, dryness and foreign body sensation caused by:
- dry eye syndrome;
- mechanical factors (use of contact lenses, after eye surgery);
- environmental factors (wind, smoke, pollen, dust, pollution);
- visual stress (excessive light, prolonged use of computers, PCs, tablets).
Compatible with soft and rigid contact lenses.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2%, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate trisodium dihydrate, sodium chloride, water for preparations injectables.
Directions for use
1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Remove the tamper-evident seal before administration.
3. Remove the cap.
4. Tilt your head and look up.
5. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket between the eyelid and the eye.
6. Take the bottle with the other hand, turn it upside down and apply moderate pressure on the bottle to dispense 1 drop of LACRIMASI into the pocket created.
7. If you think you missed your eye, administer another drop.
8. Repeat the procedure for the other eye, if necessary.
9. After instillation, immediately close the bottle with the cap, taking care to shake the bottle downwards to remove any excess product before replacing the cap on the bottle. Do not touch other surfaces, including the eye or fingers, with the dispensing tip.
10. The product can be used as needed or as directed by your doctor.

Do not use the product if you observe particles and/or changes in the color of the solution.

After administration, due to the viscosity of the solution, slightly blurred vision may occur which disappears quickly. It is therefore advisable to wait a few seconds before performing any activity that requires clear vision.
If you experience any problems during treatment, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the packaging and bottle.
Dispose of the product in accordance with local waste management regulations.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not ingest.
It is recommended not to administer other drugs or ophthalmic medical devices within 15 minutes of administering LACRIMASI.
The product is normally intended for continuous use for no more than 30 days; if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
LACRIMASI is not indicated for the treatment of infections and other eye diseases. These conditions require medical intervention.
Do not try to unscrew or tamper with the bottle dispenser.
Storage
Store at a temperature between 2°C and 30°C.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
