Spray indicated for the treatment of hypertrophic scars, both recent and old, and keloids, caused by surgery, trauma, wounds, and burns.
Indications
Kelo-Cote is a lightweight, self-drying silicone gel-based medical device spray for the treatment of scars. The spray can be applied to joints, skin folds, hairy areas, and large scars, such as those caused by burns or severe trauma. The spray dries quickly, forming an elastic, gas-permeable, and waterproof film. The spray adheres to the stratum corneum, forming a protective barrier against chemical, physical, and microbial aggressions in the scar area and allowing it to hydrate.

Butane, Pentane, Polysiloxanes, Silicon Dioxide.
Directions for use and Dosage
Shake the container before use. Make sure the affected area is clean and dry. Remove the cap from the container. Hold the container 15-20 cm away from the area to be treated. Spray the product along the entire length of the scar using a light, broad motion. Apply the spray in a thin, even layer, taking care to avoid leaving any untreated areas in the affected area. Let it air dry before applying sunscreen or wearing compression garments. The spray should dry in 2-3 minutes. Dripping indicates that too much spray has been dispensed. Gently remove any excess and allow to dry.
For best results, the spray should be applied twice daily for 90 days and can be applied before wearing compression garments or before applying sunscreen. The minimum recommended treatment duration is 60-90 days. Extensive and long-standing scars may require prolonged treatment. If no improvement is noted after the first 90 days of use, it is recommended to continue use.
Warnings
Spray contains flammable gases that promote the release of silicone. Extremely flammable. Keep away from heat sources. Do not spray on a naked flame or incandescent material. Keep away from fire. Do not smoke while using the product. Pressurized container: protect from direct light and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C / 120°F. Do not pierce or burn the container, even after use. Do not inhale. Do not use the spray near eyes, nose, or mouth. Avoid direct contact with mucous membranes, burns, and open wounds. The spray may stain clothing if not completely dry. For external use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store below 25°C / 77°F. Do not use the product after the expiry date (EXP) printed on the container.
