Indications

Kaloidon from Laboratorio Farmacologico Milanese is an advanced gel formulation that, thanks to its components, helps improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, skin thickening and/or keloids) secondary to surgery or various types of injury. The extract* of Allium cepa (onion), with a high content of quercetin and its glucosides (in guaranteed quantities greater than 10%), promotes the correct healing process, as well as reducing redness and itching of the forming tissue. The presence of allantoin contributes to the soothing effect, while low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate support skin hydration and elasticity.

Composition

Aqua, propylene glycol, pullulan, triethanolamine, alcohol, Allium cepa bulb extract, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, allantoin, sodium benzoate, glycosaminoglycans, tetrasodium EDTA, benzoic acid, sodium hyaluronate, dehydroacetic acid.

How to use and Dosage

It is recommended to massage the skin with the following movements:

1. perform circular movements both on and around the scar;
2. slide your fingers parallel to the scar line in both directions;
3. move your fingers zigzag motions along the scar with your fingers.

In the presence of particularly hardened tissue, continue the massage for about 15 minutes, repeating the various steps 4-5 times. On very thickened scars, it can also be used as a compress. The product must be used after removing the stitches on intact skin. Apply an amount of product appropriate to the area to be treated to clean, dry skin two or more times a day and massage until completely absorbed. Continuous use is recommended for at least 2 months on newly formed scars; on already developed scars and keloids, the application can be extended up to 3-6 months.

Warnings

The use of the product is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components. For external use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the tube opening is missing).
It is a transparent, dark amber gel. Any differences in shade are due to the natural origin of the onion extract.

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
