Product Description

Moisturizing and lubricating eye drops for dry eyes, also compatible with contact lens wear.

Indications

Irilens eye drops is a sterile solution for ophthalmic use containing sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid sodium salt). Thanks to 0.4% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, it guarantees high hydration with long-lasting action, offering temporary relief from the burning, irritation, and discomfort associated with dry eyes by providing lubrication to the ocular surface. Valid in case of:

• Use of contact lenses;
• Dry eye syndrome;
• Environmental factors (air conditioning, excessive exposure to sunlight, wind, smoke, pollution);
• Excessive hours of study or computer use;
• Stress resulting from surgery;
• Advanced age;
• Some drug therapies.

These and other causes that contribute to dry and irritated eyes are linked to the physiological conditions of the person and the general state of health, such as menopause or advanced age, which could accentuate the problems or make them more frequent.

Composition

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.4%, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. With clean hands, open the protective sachet, detach a single dose and open it by twisting and extracting the cap;
2. Instil 1-2 drops in each eye by lightly pressing the single dose;
3. After the first opening, the container can be closed with the special cap and the solution remaining inside The single-dose can be reused within 12 hours;
4. Contact lens wearers can apply 1-2 drops of solution to each lens before insertion, to keep the eye moist and lubricated;
5. Repeat the operation 2-4 times a day if necessary;
6. The product is for single-patient use;
7. Keep unused single-dose units in the protective pouch.

Warnings

The product is for external ophthalmic use only. Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened. Wait at least 15 minutes after use before instilling medications for external ophthalmic use. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing end of the container.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Store below 30°C.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. Keep the preparation out of reach of children. If you experience any discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor. In some cases, brief blurred vision has been observed after administration due to the density of the solution, which, however, disappears very quickly.

To date, no side effects have been reported.
