Iperilla aerosol is a medical device for inhalation use with a hypertonic solution based on dry plant extracts and hyaluronic acid, indicated to combat the symptoms of alterations of the respiratory epithelium.

Indications

Iperilla aerosol is a medical device for inhalation use consisting of a hypertonic solution based on dry plant extracts of Melissa officinalis, Perilla frutescens, and Thymus serpillus in combination with hyaluronic acid.

Iperilla aerosol is indicated to combat the symptoms resulting from alterations of the trophism of the respiratory epithelium such as cough, rhinorrhea, pain typical of flu syndromes but also linked to external allergens.

These conditions are caused by a reduction in normal mucosal hydration and a consequent reduction in mucociliary clearance. This causes a vicious cycle that can lead to serious health problems. lead to airway obstruction and susceptibility to viral and bacterial infections.

Therefore, nebulizing hydrating substances, such as hyaluronic acid, is the correct therapeutic approach that restores the level of hydration, providing relief to the irritated mucosa. The correct hypertonia of the solution also contributes to hydration: this allows the fluidification and removal of mucus.

The selected plant extracts have an antioxidant and soothing action, contributing to the restoration of the physiological balance of the respiratory mucosa.

The nebulization of Iperilla aerosol is also optimal for cleansing the nasal cavity and upper respiratory tract. Iperilla aerosol is a sterile, preservative-free, ready-to-use solution.

Ingredients

Dry extract of Melissa officinalis (titrated in rosmarinic acid ≥ 12%), dry extract of Perilla frutescens (titrated in polyphenols ≥ 2.5%), dry extract of Thymus serpyllum, hyaluronic acid, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate, maltodextrin, anhydrous colloidal silica, purified water to 100 ml.

Directions for use and Dosage

Nebulize a 3 ml vial once or twice a day or as prescribed by your doctor, without diluting it. The product can be used with all types of aerosol devices (piston, ultrasonic).

• Ready-to-use solution, do not dilute.
• The solution is for single use.
• Blow your nose before use.
• Flex the single-dose container in both directions and detach it from the strip of 5 containers to which it is welded.
• Shake the single-dose container lightly before use.
• Rotate and break the container cap.
• Exert moderate pressure on the walls of the single-dose container, dispense the indicated amount of solution and pour it into the nebulizer bulb (aerosol device).
• The product can be used with both piston and ultrasonic aerosol devices.
• During aerosol use, breathe regularly; the duration is approximately 5-6 minutes.
• Do not use any residue from the vial and/or in the nebulizer bulb after use.

Warnings

• The product is for inhalation use only, do not ingest or use differently from the instructions for use.
• Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact.
• Consult your doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Do not use under 2 years of age, as in this age group the physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract lead to a limited capacity for bronchial mucus drainage.
• Before using the device, it is advisable to thoroughly clean your hands.
• When placing the product in the bulb, do not touch other surfaces with the dispensing end of the container.
• Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even one component of the formulation.
• In case of symptoms such as bronchospasm, cough or any perception of irritation during use, immediately stop treatment and consult your doctor.
• The administration of inhaled drugs must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date on the packaging.
• Once the container is opened, pour out the contents immediately and do not reuse the residual contents.
• Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
