Indications

Infectvagin by Praevenio Pharma is a medical device indicated for the treatment of inflammatory, atrophic, and dystrophic conditions of the vaginal mucosa, such as cervicitis and ectropion. Due to its wetting action, it is indicated following physical treatment (DTC, laser therapy, cryotherapy) or in cases of postmenopausal vaginal dryness, even in the presence of bloody oozing. Thanks to its gelatin (hydrolyzed collagen) and Equisetum arvense extract content, it creates the conditions to promote healing and de-epithelialization processes, while PHMB and lactic acid allow the restoration of the physiological vaginal pH, thus counteracting the proliferation of pathogenic germs.

Composition

One ovule contains: hydrolyzed collagen, Equisetum arvense glycolic extract, polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), lactic acid, glycerin, purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

Insert one ovule in the evening. Remove an ovule from the blister, separate the two edges of the package, extract the ovule and insert it deeply into the vagina.

Warnings

All the operations described must be carried out delicately, avoiding compressing the ovule. If the product becomes excessively soft following exposure to a heat source, it will not lose its properties; however, it is recommended to store the suppository in the refrigerator until the desired consistency is achieved. The product must be administered vaginally only. In clinical trials, the product has been shown not to be sensitizing. If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Polyhexamethylenebiguanide (PHMB) is considered a rare contact allergen, with a sensitization rate of 0.5% in an unselected population. Discontinue use immediately if allergic contact dermatitis reactions occur and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

Known individual hypersensitivity to the product's components.

Use during pregnancy or for long periods should be under medical supervision. Do not use the product if you are known to be hypersensitive to polyhexamethylenebiguanide or similar substances.

Storage

Store the product away from heat sources, at a temperature below 25°C. After use, do not dispose of the container in the environment. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
