The Paul Hartmann Idealbinden Elastic Bandage is a non-sterile medium-stretch, single-use Class I medical device, ideal for securing dressings, stabilizing joints, and providing light compression in the event of injuries.
Indications
Non-sterile Class I medical device.
Ideal bandages are used on intact skin in hospital or home settings for securing primary or secondary dressings, splints, cast irons (and similar medical devices), particularly on joints. Furthermore, they can be used for the stabilization of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints with a low immobilization effect, as well as for light compression in cases of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system (such as sprains and strains) or hematomas.
They are ideal for use on conical or rounded body parts in medical interventions when acute or chronic wounds require long-term treatment or when light immobilization is required in combination with medical devices.
Ideal bandages are non-adhesive, have medium stretch, and are disposable.
