Ointment for inflammation and minor skin infections

Indications

Ictammol is indicated for inflammation and minor skin infections. Furunculosis (pimples), abscesses, and superficial ulcerations of the skin. Inflammation of the sweat glands (hidradenitis).

Composition

Active ingredients

100 g of ointment contain: ammonium sulfoichthyolate 10 g. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

Excipients

White petrolatum.

Directions for use and Dosage

Apply the ointment, in the quantity necessary in relation to the area to be treated, 2 - 3 times a day. 3 times a day, covering with gauze.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In the absence of specific studies, the medicine should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if necessary and under direct medical supervision.
