Indications

ialuset PLUS is a healing cream indicated for the treatment of infected wounds and burns, dermatological conditions of bacterial origin or predisposed to the development of secondary infections.

Hyaluronic acid is the main component of the dermis' fundamental substance. With a hydrating action, it intervenes in all stages of the healing process, accelerating the healing and re-epithelialization of skin lesions. Its hygroscopic properties maintain a moist environment, favorable to the tissue regeneration process. The hyaluronic acid used is obtained by biofermentation. Silver sulfadiazine is a component characterized by high antibacterial activity, mainly against Gram (-) bacteria.

Composition

Hyaluronic acid (sodium salt) (0.2%), silver sulfadiazine (1%), other components: oleic acid decyl ester, cetearyl alcohol and sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium cetearyl sulfate, macrogol, liquid sorbitol, glycerol, water.

Directions for use and dosage

After carrying out normal cleaning procedures, apply the cream directly to the clean and disinfected wound, forming a layer of approximately 2-3 mm or spread the cream on a sterile gauze and then apply it to the wound. Since the cream is protected by a sterile gauze, the dressing can be kept in place with an appropriate bandage. Before each new application, it is recommended to clean the wound with saline solution. The application should be renewed every 24 hours from granulation until complete healing. The cream can be removed by simply rinsing with water. The progress of the wound or burn healing process should be evaluated by a physician. The total duration of treatment should not exceed 1 month.
