Indications

Ialòral HA is a substitute for synovial fluid in joints affected by degenerative or mechanical arthropathy that causes pain or reduced mobility.

Composition

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 2%, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, and water for injection (quantity required).

Directions for use Directions for Use and Dosage

The product must be administered weekly for a total of 3 weeks or, in any case, according to medical prescription.
Remove any joint effusion before injecting ialoral HA. The same needle must be used for removing the effusion and injecting Ialoral HA.
Remove the protective cap from the syringe, taking care to avoid contact with the opening. Tightly screw the 18- to 22-gauge needle onto the Luer-type locking collar to ensure a watertight seal.
Before injection, treat the site with an appropriate antiseptic solution.
Inject Ialoral HA using aseptic technique.
Inject only into the joint cavity.
The product should not be administered to patients with known sensitivity to ialoral HA. Hyaluronic acid and related compounds, in case of infection or skin disease near the injection site, if the joint is infected or severely inflamed.
Do not inject vascularly, outside the joint cavity, into the tissues or synovial capsules.
Avoid concomitant administration with other products for intra-articular use to prevent any possible interaction.
Do not administer in case of severe intra-articular effusion.
