Hylovision SafeDrop Gel Wetting and Protective Eye Drops

Features

Wetting eye drops with hyaluronic acid for hydration and protection of the ocular surface. For intense hydration and long-lasting relief from ocular disorders, particularly in cases of intense and chronic dryness, and following diagnostic eye procedures. Sterile, phosphate-free and preservative-free solution. Soothing, well-tolerated, and long-lasting. Suitable for wearers of hard and soft contact lenses.

Directions for use

Step 1: Before applying the product for the first time, write the opening date in the appropriate field on the bottle label. Remove the protective cap before each use.
Step 2: Before using the SafeDrop vial for the first time, press the vial several times until the first drop is released (as shown in the figure). Hold the vial upside down as shown in the figure. Avoid letting the tip of the dispenser come into contact with your fingers or your eye.
Step 3: Hold the vial as shown in the figure. Your thumb should rest on the large, round, non-slip area.
Step 4: Tilt your head back slightly and use the fingers of your free hand to pull your lower eyelid down. Apply one or two drops of Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel into the conjunctival sac of each eye by pressing the pump device once or twice. Keep the vial upright while doing this. Close your eye slowly to distribute Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel evenly over the ocular surface.
Alternatively, if the drops are used with contact lenses, apply one or two drops of the product to each contact lens before putting them in, instead of applying the drops directly to the eye.
Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel can also be applied while wearing contact lenses.
After use, close the multidose container with the protective cap.
Apply Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel as needed or as directed by your doctor.
Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel is indicated for long-term use, however, as with all diseases, consult your doctor if symptoms persist.
If you are also using another local treatment in addition to Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel, wait approx. 30 minutes between the application of one product and the other. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel should be applied after other products.

Composition

Sodium hyaluronate (0.30%), sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid, purified water.

Warnings

-Do not use the product if the SafeDrop multidose container is damaged.
-The tip of the dispenser must not come into contact with the surface of the eye, to prevent infection or injury to the eye.
-The tip of the dispenser must not come into contact with other objects or parts of the body.
-Do not use as the sole treatment of an eye infection.
-Do not use the eye drops after the expiry date stated on each SafeDrop vial and on the carton.
-A single multidose container must not be used by more than one person. patients.
- Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel is not indicated as a contact lens storage solution.
- Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel should be kept out of the reach of children.
- Consult your eye doctor if symptoms persist while using Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Gel.
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components.
Side effects
- After application, visual acuity may temporarily decrease (clouding of the eyes). In this case, do not drive or operate machinery. It is advisable to wait until the symptoms have subsided. Normal visual acuity is not restored.
- Temporary symptoms, such as a slight burning sensation in the eyes, may occur immediately after applying the eye drops.

Storage

Store between 5°C and 25°C.
Protect from frost and direct exposure to sunlight.

SafeDrop multidose container: 1 x 10 ml.
