Indications
Hylo Dual Intense is a sterile, preservative-free solution for ophthalmic use.
It is used for the intensive therapeutic lubrication of the dry ocular surface and for the stabilization of the tear film.
It relieves inflammatory symptoms such as itching and burning.
Burning and itching of the eyes, tearing, the sensation of a foreign body in the eyes or dryness are symptoms of an irritated eye.
These signs often indicate that the eye is not sufficiently hydrated.
Thanks to the dual mechanism of action of sodium hyaluronate and ectoine, the application of Hylo Dul Intense is particularly beneficial in these cases.
The product contains sodium salt Hyaluronic acid, a natural substance present in many organs of the human body, including the eye.
It has the particular physical characteristic of forming a uniform, stable, and long-lasting wetting film that is not easily removed after rinsing.
Thanks to these bioadhesive characteristics, the cornea and conjunctiva are protected and, together with natural tears, ensure better gliding of the eyelid over the eye.
Hylo Dual Intense has a particularly high content of sodium hyaluronate, which gives it high viscosity.
The eye is thus provided with a soothing wetting film with particularly intensive action and for a prolonged period of time.
Persistent or more severe disorders Severe irritation is relieved and the eye is protected from further irritation.
Ectoine is a natural substance extracted from microorganisms that live in extreme environments (such as salt lakes).
To protect themselves from extreme environmental factors, these microorganisms produce ectoine, a natural substance whose special properties are used in Hylo Dual Intense.
Ectoine increases the adhesion of water to the cells of the ocular surface, thus creating a physiological barrier on the conjunctiva.
At the same time, ectoin stabilizes the fat-soluble portion of the tear film, which protects against excessive tear evaporation.
Thanks to the interaction between sodium hyaluronate and ectoin, a dense wetting film is created on the eye that protects against tear evaporation for a long time.

Composition
1 ml of Hylo Dual Intense contains 2 mg of sodium hyaluronate, 20 mg of ectoin, boric acid, borax and water for injections.
Directions for use and Dosage
Remove the cap before use.
To remove the cap, hold it firmly with one hand and with the other, turn the bottle downwards.
Before the first application of Hylo Dual Intense, turn the bottle upside down with the dropper facing downwards and press on the bottom of the bottle to release the first drop from the dropper.
The bottle is now ready for use for subsequent applications.
Hold the bottle upside down by placing your thumb on the top of the bottle and your other fingers on the bottom.
With your free hand, support the hand holding the bottle created using the Comod technique.
Tilt your head back slightly, with your free hand, gently pull your lower eyelid downwards and press quickly and firmly on the bottom of the bottle.

In general, for adults and children over 6 years of age, apply 1 drop of Hylo Dual Intense 3 times a day into the conjunctival sac of each eye.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age, Hylo Dual Intense should not be administered more than 10 times a day.
Warnings
Use only if the outer packaging is sealed and intact before use.
The bottle should be intended for the treatment of one person only.
If using any other eye drops, wait at least 30 minutes between applications and always use Hylo Dual Intense last.
Ophthalmic ointments, however, should not be used when using Hylo Dual Intense.
Since Hylo Dual Intense is a very sensitive eye, it is recommended that you use Hylo Dual Intense first. Hylo Dual Intense eye drops do not contain preservatives; long-term treatment is particularly well tolerated.
Hypersensitivity reactions (burning, excessive tearing) have been observed in very rare cases, but these disappear immediately upon discontinuation of administration of Hylo Dual Intense.
Hylo Dual Intense cannot be used while wearing contact lenses: due to the viscosity of the preparation, application of the product may result in temporary blurred vision.
Currently, no information is available regarding the use of Hylo Dual Intense in children or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Based on current knowledge, Hylo Dual Intense can be used in children over 6 years of age or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Hylo Dual Intense is suitable for long-term use; However, as with any other condition, if the symptoms persist (for example, for more than two weeks), it is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the components and in children under 6 years of age.
If you use Hylo Dual Intense more frequently (for example, more than 10 times a day) and in case of more severe symptoms, consult an ophthalmologist. If the condition is severe, you should consult an eye doctor for regular eye examinations.
Do not use while wearing contact lenses.
