Composition:

1 ml of eye drops, solution contains: Active ingredient: Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 2 mg Excipients: thiomersal.

Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, Thiomersal, Purified water.

Therapeutic indications

Symptomatic treatment of dry eye syndrome.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view. Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

Dosage

Instill two drops of eye drops into the conjunctival sac 3 or more times a day. When applying the drops, avoid allowing the tip of the container to come into contact with the eye or any other surface.

Warnings and precautions

If administering ophthalmic solutions for therapeutic purposes, suspend instillation of the product. Use, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena; in this case, discontinue use and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Instructions for use: Remove the protective cap and unscrew the cap. Turn the bottle upside down and instill the eye drops by applying gentle pressure to the bottle. Close the bottle by screwing the cap back on.

Interactions

To date, no interactions of HYALISTIL with other drugs are known. However, it is recommended to avoid the simultaneous use of other cleaning or disinfectant solutions (for example, solutions containing quaternary ammonium salts).

Side effects

No local or systemic adverse reactions to the drug are known. This medicine contains thiomersal (an organomercury compound) as a preservative and, therefore, sensitization reactions may occur.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies on the use of the medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Therefore, the medicine should be used only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the fetus.
