Indications

The Anatomical Hot/Cold Gel Pad by Medipresteril is a reusable medical device useful for providing pain relief through heat treatment. Its anatomical shape is ideal for comfortably adapting to different parts of the body, offering targeted relief.

Details

• Cold therapy: suitable for soothing mild muscle or rheumatic pain, sprains and preventing swelling and bruising;
• Heat therapy: suitable for conditions of the musculoskeletal system (rheumatism), osteoarthritis (cervical), lumbago.

Composition

Propylene gel; water; carboxymethyl cellulose; dye (methylene blue).

Directions for use and Dosage

• Cold therapy: store in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Remove from the freezer, place the device in the appropriate non-woven bag or wrap it in a cloth and apply it to the area to be treated. After 20/30 minutes, the gel returns to room temperature.
• Heat therapy: Heat water in a suitable-sized pot until boiling; turn off the heat and immerse the pad for 5 minutes. Carefully remove it with tongs or another suitable tool, dry with a cloth, place it in the appropriate bag found in the package and wrap the pad in a towel before applying it to the area to be treated, to avoid burns. Alternatively, place the pad in the microwave for no more than 1 minute at 700/800 Watts. Remove and wrap the pad in a towel or in the appropriate bag before applying it to the area to be treated to avoid burns.

Warnings

Do not apply the product too close to the skin, or for too long, to avoid causing cold burns. Avoid spraying in the eyes, on wounds, abrasions, grazes and mucous membranes. External use only.
