Medical device for the treatment of herpes symptoms
HERPOtherm is a patented medical device for the topical treatment of symptoms associated with herpes (Herpes simplex labialis), such as itching, burning, tingling, or sensitivity.
If used promptly, HERPOtherm can generally prevent the formation of herpes vesicles. If used later, it can promote a milder or more rapid course. The first signs of the onset of herpes, the so-called prodromal symptoms, can generally be itching, burning, tingling, or sensitivity.
It works solely by means of concentrated heat and is therefore free of any chemical substances. HERPOtherm is therefore also suitable for pregnant women, allergy sufferers, and children. The use of concentrated heat (local hyperthermia) is a physical principle of action based on the brief, concentrated application of a heat source to a limited area of skin. The application of localized heat alone can be sufficient to relieve symptoms such as itching, burning, tingling, or sensitivity, or generally to prevent the formation of herpes vesicles, if applied promptly.
