A hydrocolloid adhesive patch that protects and treats the symptoms of cold sores. Master-Aid Herpes Patch is made of a hydrocolloid matrix coated on a polyurethane backing. This matrix has beneficial properties for protecting and treating lesions and is composed of carboxymethylcellulose and konjac gum. These hydrophilic polymers absorb exudates and maintain a controlled level of moisture in the wound.
Moisture control is essential for proper healing. Master-Aid Herpes Patch also contains calendula extract, a vegetable oil with emollient properties that help soften the external epithelium of the lip surface, minimizing the discomfort caused by the sensation of the herpes lesion.
Format: Modern, pocket-sized hard plastic case with an internal mirror to help with correct application of the patch.
