Indications

Healavis Intra-Articular Syringe Administration induces normalization of the viscoelasticity of the synovial fluid and activation of tissue repair processes at the level of the articular cartilage.
In some experimental models, hyaluronic acid has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity.
These properties translate into improved joint function and control of objective and subjective symptoms related to arthritic disease.
Exogenous hyaluronic acid, being a substance widely present in the body, is physiologically metabolized after parenteral administration, integrating into the common hexose metabolic pathways.
The results of intra-articular studies conducted in dogs and rabbits, after single and repeated administration, indicate that hyaluronic acid is rapidly distributed throughout joint tissues and persists for a long time: the labeled product is found in the synovial membrane as early as 2 hours after administration and persists for up to 7 days; the highest concentration of labeled hyaluronic acid is found in the synovial fluid and then, decreasingly, in the joint capsule, ligaments, and adjacent muscle. In some experimental models, hyaluronic acid has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
