Product Description

Sterile disposable lancet used with the lancing device for collecting capillary blood from the fingertip or alternative sites, for blood glucose monitoring or other tests requiring small amounts of blood.

Indications

Glucoject Lancets Extra are sterile disposable lancets, ideal for collecting small amounts of capillary blood from the fingertip or alternative sites, useful for blood glucose monitoring or other diagnostic tests. Compatible with the Glucoject Dual Extra device and most commercially available lancing devices, they offer a safe, hygienic, and minimally invasive experience. The device can be used by adults and children over 2 years of age.
Free of phthalates, latex, PVC, and benzene. Non-pyrogenic, non-toxic. 304 stainless steel needle.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. Wash your hands with soap and water, clean them, rinse them and dry them thoroughly;
2. Remove the end cap of the lancing device by twisting it;
3. Firmly insert the lancet into the holder;
4. Remove the protective cap of the lancet: unscrew and remove the cap.
   NB: keep the protective cap to safely dispose of the used lancet;
5. Adjust the desired puncture depth;
6. Gently pull the charging cylinder until it clicks into place. you do not hear a "click"
7. Press the end cap firmly against your finger.
   Press the release button;
8. Remove the end cap and use the retained protective cap to cover the lancet;
9. Push the ejector forward to dispose of the used lancet in a suitable container.

Storage

5 years from the date of sterilization.
The lancing device remains sterile until the protective cap is removed.
