Ginetantum is used in the treatment of vulvovaginitis of any origin and nature, characterized by small vaginal discharge, itching, irritation, burning and vulvar pain and in intimate hygiene during the puerperium.

Dosage and method of use

Ginetantum Sachets are used according to the following methods: use to wash the external genitals once or twice a day for a maximum of 7 days. Dissolve the contents of 1-2 sachets or 1-2 vials in 1 liter of water.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients.

Special warnings

The medicine must be used locally for washing the external genitalia. Do not ingest. Use of the product could give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, treatment must be suspended and appropriate therapeutic measures adopted. Instruct the patient to contact her doctor before use in case of vaginal bleeding and/or leukorrhea.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no contraindications to the topical use of benzydamine during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
