Composition:
100 g of cream contain: Active ingredients: Benzyl alcohol 4 g - Benzocaine 5 g - Chloroxylenol 0.4 g. Excipients: cetyl alcohol. 100 g of spray contain: Active ingredients: Benzyl alcohol 4 g - Benzocaine 5 g - Chloroxylenol 0.6 g. For a full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
Excipients
Cream: stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, vaseline oil, isopropyl myristate palmitate and stearate, polysorbate 60, cocoa butter, triethanolamine, carbomer 974P, sorbitan tristearate, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, eugenol, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, butylhydroxyanisole, purified water. Spray: ethanol 96%, glucam P 20 (PPG 20 methylglucose ether), ammonium alcohol, glycerol, propylene glycol.
Therapeutic indications
Minor burns, sunburn, skin irritations caused by various chemical-physical agents, insect bites. In the treatment of grazes, abrasions, and superficial skin wounds.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients. The product is not for ophthalmic use.
Dosage
Cream: apply the cream, in a thin and uniform layer, directly to the lesion. In the case of localized lesions, it is advisable - following the application of the cream - to then cover with sterile gauze, kept moist with further applications from the outside, and bandage carefully. The dressing should not be removed before 48 hours, in order not to disturb the granulation process. In certain cases, the initial dressing should not be removed and changed even for a longer period of time, but it must be kept well moistened with FOILLE SOLE. It is recommended not to exceed the maximum limit of 4 applications per day, both in adults and children. Spray: For more extensive lesions, it is preferable to use the spray. When using FOILLE SOLE skin spray, solution, it is necessary to carefully follow the following instructions: 1- shake the can and then remove the protective cap, 2- direct the nozzle of the spray valve towards the area to be treated, keeping it at a distance of about a hand's breadth. 3- press the spray valve. It is recommended not to exceed the maximum limit of 4 applications per day, both for adults and children.
Warnings and precautions
FOILLE SOLE is for external use only and should be used only on superficial, non-extensive skin lesions, and for short periods of time. In case of deep wounds, or widespread insect bites, or severe burns or particularly extensive minor burns, always consult your doctor before using the product. If the condition for which this preparation is being used persists for longer than 12 months, consult your doctor immediately. If prolonged use occurs, irritation occurs, redness, swelling, or pain persists, or an infection occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Do not apply near the eyes. Do not spray on a naked flame or incandescent material. Do not inhale: continued inhalation of FOILLE SOLE spray may cause dizziness and a feeling of malaise, typical of any aerosol product. Use, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization. In this case, discontinue use immediately and initiate appropriate therapy. The efficacy and safety of benzocaine depend on correct dosage. Therefore, it is necessary to use the smallest amount of product necessary to achieve the desired effect, applying it with caution to individuals with severely damaged mucous membranes or those with inflammatory processes that could cause excessive absorption of this active ingredient. Do not use the product in children under 6 months of age. It is recommended to administer it only after consulting a doctor between 6 months and 2 years of age. FOILLE SOLE skin spray contains ethanol (ethyl alcohol) as an excipient. For those who participate in sports, the use of medicines containing ethyl alcohol may result in positive doping tests in relation to the blood alcohol concentration limits indicated by some sports federations. The presence of cetyl alcohol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, as excipients in the cream formulation, and propylene glycol, as an excipient in the spray formulation, may be responsible for localized skin reactions (even delayed). The presence of butylhydroxyanisole as an excipient in the cream formulation may cause localized skin reactions. may cause localized skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis) or irritation to the eyes and mucous membranes.

Side effects
The use of products for topical application, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy. Rarely, high absorption of benzocaine can cause serious reactions (increase in methemoglobin, with the appearance of cyanosis), particularly in children and the elderly, which require prompt hospital treatment.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no known contraindications for the use of FOILLE SOLE during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, it is advisable to consult your doctor before taking the drug during pregnancy.
