Indications

Flexima 936515F 3S is a CE Class I medical device. The plate is equipped with a single-layer hydrocolloid skin protector of uniform thickness to ensure an effective seal. The special design of the skin protector prevents the flange from contacting the skin under the stoma. The plate structure is elongated downwards to improve skin protection under the stoma. The polyethylene flange is highly flexible and is equipped, in the lower part, with a safety guide that allows for easy positioning of the bag, ensuring correct coupling between the bag and the plate. It also has, in the upper part, a pressure coupling device to further guarantee a secure union between the plate and the bag. The convex plate features a unique convex shape that allows for proper stoma exteriorization without placing excessive and localized pressure on the peristomal skin. Pressure relief is gradually distributed over a large area of ​​skin. The convexity is 6 mm deep.
The plate is made of a single layer of uniformly thick hydrocolloid skin protector, joined to a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) pouch connection ring. It also features a polyethylene film that distances the pouch connection ring from the base of the plate. This allows the thumbs to be inserted under the ring to facilitate the connection between the pouch and plate, avoiding pressure on the abdomen. The flange is highly flexible and features a safety guide on the bottom that allows for safe and precise positioning of the pouch. The skin protector is equipped with a protective paper printed with the product identification data and the different cutting lines of the skin protector depending on the diameter of the stoma.
