Indications

Local treatment of painful and inflammatory conditions of a rheumatic or traumatic nature in: joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Composition

Active Ingredients: Diclofenac hydroxyethylpyrrolidine 180 mg (equivalent to 140 mg of diclofenac sodium).

Excipients: Gelatin, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sorbitol 70% solution, kaolin, titanium dioxide, propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, disodium edetate, tartaric acid, dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium polyacrylate, 1-3-butylene glycol, polysorbate 80, perfume, purified water, felt synthetic, plastic film.

Mode Directions for Use and Dosage

For cutaneous use only.
The medicine should be applied only to intact, healthy skin and should not be applied while bathing or showering.
The diclofenac medicated plaster should be used for the shortest possible time in relation to the indication for use.
Adults: 1 or 2 patches per day (one application every 12 or 24 hours) for a period of up to 14 days.
Advise the patient to consult a doctor if he or she does not experience improvement following the recommended treatment period.
Children and adolescents under 16 years of age: Use is not recommended.
In adolescents aged 16 years and over: if the medicine is needed for a treatment period longer than 7 days for the relief of pain or if the symptoms worsen, re-evaluation is necessary.
Advise the patient or the adolescent's relatives to consult their doctor.
This medicine should be used with caution in elderly patients as they are more susceptible to side effects.
Cut the sachet containing the medicated plaster.
Extract a medicated plaster, remove the plastic film used to protect the adhesive surface and apply the plaster to the painful joint or surface.
If necessary, the plaster can be held in place with an elastic band (the package contains a tubular net).
Carefully reseal the sachet.
The plaster must be used in its entirety.
Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to acetylsalicylic acid or other analgesics or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or any of the excipients.
Patients who have experienced asthma attacks, urticaria, or acute rhinitis after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Damaged skin, regardless of the type of lesion: dermatitis and exudative, eczema, infected lesions, burns, or wounds.
Third trimester of pregnancy.
Patients with active peptic ulcer.
Children and adolescents: Use in children and adolescents under 16 years of age is contraindicated.
