Eye drops zerodue moisturizer lubricant ophthalmic solution 10 ml

Characteristics

Zerodue eye drops moisten and lubricate the ocular surface and reduce the risk of tear film instability. Although they have no pharmacological effect, they protect the corneal epithelium from possible damage caused by:

• adverse climatic and environmental conditions such as wind, cold, sun, salt, air conditioning, smoke, smog, fine dust;
• particular conditions of ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses or prolonged work at video terminals or microscopes. Useful when, in particular conditions or following the intake of certain medications, tearing is reduced, such as during menopause and during diabetes treatment.

Ingredients

100 ml of solution contains: sodium hyaluronate 0.2g; sodium chloride; magnesium chloride; potassium chloride; monobasic sodium phosphate; dibasic sodium phosphate, trisodium citrate; thimerosal; water for injections.

Directions for use

Instill, when needed, even several times a day, one or two drops in each eye, letting them fall from above and avoiding the bottle touching the eyelashes or the ocular surface.

Warnings

Use for external use only. Do not use immediately before administering medicinal products for therapeutic purposes, and within 5 minutes of applying any topical drug therapy. Do not use with contact lenses. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components or other closely related chemical substances. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. Keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects

In rare cases, slight blurring of vision has been observed upon instillation, which is due to the viscosity of the solution. This sensation, however, disappears very quickly. In rare cases, intolerance (burning sensation and/or irritation) may occur. Prolonged symptoms may be caused by the presence of the preservative. In this case, it is advisable to contact your eye doctor. Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.

Storage

The product must be stored at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C. The solution must be used within 4 weeks of first opening the bottle. After this period, discard any residue.
