Indications
Pressure ulcers from stages 1 to 4, surgical wounds, vascular lesions, first- and second-degree burns, donor sites. Pressure sores and non-infected wounds with medium or high exudate production in the granulation or re-epithelialization phase.
"EURODERM FOAM PLUS" can be used for: It can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with cavity dressings, under compression bandages for the treatment of ulcers, and in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, in combination with Hydromed Gel.
Features
Sterile dressing with a hypoallergenic adhesive border made of hydrocellular polyurethane foam with a layered structure that ensures permanence even on difficult-to-apply areas, allowing for atraumatic removal.
The combination of the foam with the external polyurethane film makes Euroderm foam plus excellent at managing fluids, maintaining the ideal moist environment for the healing process.
The absorbed fluids are evenly distributed within the foam pad, which conforms perfectly to the wound bed and the various anatomical sites of the body.
Do not use on wounds with fragile periwound skin. Euroderm foam plus can be used on wounds with fragile periwound skin. It can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with cavity dressings (gauze, alginate, CMC), under compression bandages for the treatment of venous ulcers, and in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, in combination with Hydromed gel.
The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of change depends on the type of wound, the amount of exudate, and the clinical condition.
Euroderm foam plus is latex-free.
