Esteem Syn 409266 is an ostomy device with adhesive fastening technology, with a microporous support. Instead of a rigid flange, a patented foam adhesive allows the pouch to adhere to a transparent "adhesion base" on the baseplate. Precisely for this reason, despite being two pieces, the system is thin and flexible. Stomahesive skin barriers are designed to be gentle on peristomal skin.
