Esoref is a medical device that combines compounds with antacid and mucosa-protective action for the management of the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux and laryngopharyngeal reflux.
Indications
Medical device that combines compounds with antacid and mucosa-protective action in a single formulation for the management of the characteristic symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux and laryngopharyngeal reflux diseases. With a single product you can act on multiple levels, limiting gastric hyperacidity (thanks to the presence of magaldrate), hindering the passage of gastric acids (action carried out by magnesium alginate) towards the esophagus, trachea and larynx and protecting the mucous membranes from acid irritation (a mucoadhesive mix based on hyaluronic acid adheres to the mucosa creating a protective film), the cause of many problems linked to acid reflux pathologies. Esoref is indicated in the treatment of reflux diseases and can help reduce disorders related to gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn, epigastralgia, acid regurgitation, retrosternal pain) and laryngopharyngeal reflux (cough, dysphonia, odynophagia, laryngospasm, halitosis, asthma, dyspnea, otalgia, rhinorrhea, and nasal obstruction).
Composition
Active ingredients
Magaldrate, magnesium alginate, M-adesyil [sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum, plasmone K90 (polyvinyl pyrrolidone)], hydrolyzed marine collagen.
Excipients
Orange flavor, sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sucralose, purified water, fructose.
Directions for use and dosage
Oral use. Shake the stick pack well before opening. Take 1 stick pack after main meals and/or at bedtime.
The product should be taken as is, without diluting it in water or other liquids.
Interactions
It is advisable to consult a doctor if taking other medicines at the same time.
Warnings
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
The product is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
Do not use for purposes other than those indicated.
The medical device is for single use only: use the product immediately after opening, as the contents may lose their healthiness, compromising the functional performance of the device.
Esoref should be used with caution in patients with renal insufficiency, in cases of bone metabolism disorders, and if you suffer from low blood phosphate levels (hypophosphatemia).
If any particular reactions occur, discontinue use of the product and contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging and each blister pack.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
Contraindications
The device contains hydrolyzed marine collagen: do not take if you are allergic to fish derivatives.
Do not use if you are known hypersensitivity to any component of the product. In case of hypersensitivity reaction (which usually manifests itself in the oral cavity with a slight burning sensation in the throat), stop taking it immediately and contact your doctor.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy or breastfeeding, for greater safety, it is recommended to consult your doctor before taking it.
Storage
Store away from light and heat sources and at a temperature below 25°C.
