Indications

Thanks to the combination of pectin and gelatin, it stops bleeding due to nosebleeds and is a useful aid in the healing of external wounds and in nourishing the dermal tissues.
Pectin is in fact an excellent re-epithelializer. The combined action of gelatin and pectin, substances long used in the treatment of bleeding, facilitates the arrest of hemorrhage, respecting the physiology of the nasal mucosa.
The particular formulation of Epistas also reduces the drying of the nasal mucosa in nosebleeds, and is a useful aid in cases of bedsores and external wounds, thanks to its ability to be absorbed quickly, heal, re-epithelialize and leave the wound moistened.

Components

Peg 400; Peg 4000; gelatin; pectin; benzalkonium chloride.

How to use

Nosebleeds: Place a small amount of ointment in the nostrils, possibly using gauze, and compressing the nose from the outside with your fingers.
External wounds: Apply a sufficient amount of ointment to the wound.

Warnings

Avoid use in cases of evidence of individual hypersensitivity to the components.
Do not clean the tube with water. Use tissues or paper; if stained with blood, clean with alcohol.
Do not ingest.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes with plenty of water.
Keep out of reach of children.
The presence of small granules in the ointment is normal. They also have an anti-bleeding action.

Storage

Reseal the tube after use.
Store at room temperature.
Do not expose to heat sources.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment.
