Sterile 100% cotton gauze, for periocular hygiene in adults and children.
Indications
Gauze soaked in a solution containing plant extracts, indicated for cleansing the periocular areas. Epica leaves no residue and is able to perform a thorough cleansing, removing secretions, any foreign bodies, dust, etc.
Components
100% cotton gauze, soaked in a solution containing: water, propylene glycol, ammonium glycyrrhizate, Chamomilla recutita glycolic extract, Euphrasia officinalis glycolic extract, aloe vera powder, hyaluronic acid sodium salt, PEG/PPG-20/15 dimethicone, caprylyl/capryl glucoside, sodium cocoyl wheat amino acids, ethylhexylglycerin, alcohol 2-phenylethyl (2-phenylethanol), sodium chloride, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic (disodium phosphate).
How to use
- After cleaning your hands properly, open the sachet and remove the gauze.
- Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it, so as to allow adequate cleansing, removal of ocular secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, powders, etc.).
In the event of particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the tear canaliculus, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (about 40°C) and then use the gauze as a hot compress, massaging gently.
It is also possible to squeeze the contents of the gauze onto the closed eye, then massage with the gauze until all residue is removed.
In the case of inflammation, it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze to the eye, keeping it there for a few minutes as a cold compress.
Warnings
The gauze is for single use only. If reused, it may carry infections.
In the case of infectious conditions, do not use the same gauze for both eyes.
Keep out of reach of children.
The sterility of the product is guaranteed only by the integrity of the packaging.
External use only. Use only on intact skin, avoid direct contact with the ocular surface.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to any of the components.
Discontinue treatment in case of irritation or hypersensitivity to the product, consulting your doctor if symptoms persist.

Do not use after the expiry date clearly indicated on the outer packaging and on the sachet.
The product has not been tested in conjunction with other pharmacological therapies or for prolonged use.
Storage
Store away from dust, at a temperature between 8°C and 30°C.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
