Product Description

Eye drops useful for the treatment of ocular edema.

Indications

Edenorm free is a sterile hypertonic ophthalmic solution with 5% sodium chloride, without preservatives, useful for the treatment of ocular edema. The Edenorm free bottle is fitted with an OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) dropper which, through its absolute filter and valve system, guarantees the maintenance of the product's sterility without the use of preservatives.

Components

Main component: 5% sodium chloride.
Other components: hydroxyethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer, polyethylene glycol, boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, water for injections.

Directions for use

Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as directed by your doctor. After instillation, keep the eye closed for 1 or 2 minutes without blinking.

1. Before first use, remove the plastic ring that seals the cap by pulling the side tab.
2. Remove the cap.
3. Invert the bottle over the eye and apply increasing pressure on the sides with your index finger and thumb until a drop comes out. It is possible that as the solution in the bottle runs out, it will be necessary to apply greater force.
4. Replace the bottle with the cap.

Warnings

The product is for external ophthalmic use only. To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, do not allow the dropper to come into contact with the eye or other objects. To avoid damage to the ocular surface, do not allow the dropper to come into contact with the eye during instillation. As the solution in the bottle gradually runs out, it will be necessary to apply greater force to force the drop out. Reclose the bottle tightly after use. In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult your doctor. Do not use the product if the OSD bottle is damaged. Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.
Side effects: There are no known adverse effects after administration of the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After application of the product, mild eye burning and transient visual discomfort may occur.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the bottle label. After first opening, the product can be used until the expiration date indicated on the packaging. Do not dispose of in the environment.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
