Edenil 0.1 g vaginal solution: 2-phenoxyethanol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E218), ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E214), propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E216), butyl p-hydroxybenzoate, polysorbate 20, propylene glycol, floral essence, purified water.
Edenil is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of vulvovaginitis characterized by small vaginal discharge, itching, irritation, burning and pain. vulvar.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to substances closely chemically related to ibuprofen.
1 or 2 vaginal irrigations per day, using the bottle containing the ready-to-use substance or by dissolving the contents of 1-2 sachets in 1 liter of water for each vaginal irrigation. The ready-to-use vaginal solution can be used at room temperature or lukewarm by placing the bottle under a stream of hot water. Remove the tamper-evident seal and closure by pushing it sideways. Remove the cannula from the protective packaging and insert it into the bottle until it is firmly positioned. Position yourself so that the solution can perform its cleansing and therapeutic action (squatting or sitting on the toilet). The cannula ends with an apical dispenser with 3 irrigation holes and 3 grooves for fluid flow. Gently insert only the apical dispenser into the vagina up to the insertion limit. Squeeze the bottle until it is completely empty. Retain the liquid in the vagina for a few minutes to allow the solution to perform its therapeutic action. Also follow any instructions from your doctor.
Edenil should not be used in severe specific or nonspecific vulvovaginitis. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products may give rise to hypersensitivity phenomena. In this case, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy. The vaginal solution contains p-hydroxybenzoates, which can cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed), and propylene glycol, which can cause skin irritation. If there is no response within 3 days of starting administration, do not continue treatment and consult your doctor.
No interactions with other medicines have been observed.
No side effects related to the use of the drug have been observed.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
