Product Description

This is an Ecotherm Ecological Thermometer, a medical device made of mercury-free glass, used to detect body temperature in adults and children.

Indications

Eco-friendly clinical instrument made of flat, elongated glass with an internal graduated scale and a column containing a mercury-free liquid composed of a mixture of Gallium, Indium, and Tin, similar to mercury but non-toxic. This product is latex-free.
A device commonly used in hospitals and at home for detect body temperature in adults and children.

Indications Instructions for Use

Before use, disinfect the bulb with alcohol or other disinfectant. During the measurement, remain in the same place/position until the measurement is complete. The measurement lasts approximately 4 minutes; the temperature will be displayed along the glass column. For axillary measurement, place the bulb in the center of the armpit in a stable position. Do not move your arm until the measurement is complete. For rectal measurement, gently insert the bulb into the rectum, avoiding any movement until the measurement is complete. For oral measurement, place the thermometer under the tongue in a stable position and close your mouth firmly. Remain still until the measurement is complete. The thermometer has been calibrated by the manufacturer and no subsequent calibration is necessary.

Warnings

Do not measure temperatures other than body temperature. In case of liquid leakage following accidental breakage, remove the liquid with a damp cloth or other suitable material.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, avoid direct exposure to sunlight and atmospheric agents.
Shelf life for intact packaging: 24 months.
