Product Description

Medical device based on high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, indicated as an adjuvant in the protection of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.

Indications

Thanks to the hydrating and mucoprotective action of hyaluronic acid, it contributes to the maintenance of the physiological conditions of the upper and lower respiratory tract (trachea and primary bronchi), restoring the homeostasis of the respiratory mucosa altered by acute or chronic inflammation.

Composition

Sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid sodium salt), mannitol.

Directions for use and Dosage

We recommend 1 application per day as an adjuvant in periods of decreased respiratory function. For upper respiratory tract conditions, we recommend 1 application once or twice a day, as recommended by your doctor, for a period of at least 2 weeks.

1. Open the package.
2. Exhale normally.
3. Place the inhaler gently between your teeth in a horizontal position to facilitate delivery of the product.
4. Close your lips and press the aluminum capsule containing the powder.
5. Inhale as deeply as possible through your mouth. Make sure that the breathing is intense in the initial phase and prolonged for a couple of seconds. Do not turn the device upside down after activating it.
6. Hold your breath for a couple of seconds after inhaling. Do not be concerned if a light aerosol of powder escapes from the mouthpiece when you squeeze the blister during activation.
7. Do not chew or bite the mouthpiece.
8. Remove Dyfesa from your mouth.
9. Exhale gently.
10. After use, dispose of as non-recyclable waste. The amount of product inhaled is very small. This means you may not be able to taste it after inhalation. If you have followed the instructions, you can make sure you have inhaled the dose correctly.
11. If you need to take a second inhalation, repeat steps 1 to 9 using a new disposable device.
12. Rinse your mouth with water after the morning and/or evening dose.

Warnings

• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package.
• Do not use if the package is open or damaged.
• Single use only.
• Do not reuse to avoid any risk of contamination.
• Do not freeze.
• Once opened, it must be used immediately and discarded after use.
• Additional treatment and does not replace other treatments prescribed by your doctor. It is advisable to consult your doctor before using DYFESA.
• For use in children, the presence and assistance of an adult is recommended during the use of DYFESA.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (between 0°C and 25°C) and away from sunlight.
