Indications

Drusenoff is a protective anti-UV ophthalmic solution based on vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin E TPGS, MSM, amino acids, and 0.1% hyaluronic acid, which shield the ocular surface from UV and blue light. Furthermore, they improve the lubrication of the ocular surface and help protect the corneal epithelium from various types of stress.

Sodium hyaluronate interacts mechanically with the mucin layer of the tear film, retaining water and helping to keep the ocular surface stable for a long time. The synergistic action of the amino acids has a nourishing function on the ocular surface, as well as regulating the pH and tear osmolarity, and helps improve the protection of the epithelia subjected to the stress produced by UV and blue light. Vitamin E TPGS also promotes wettability of the ocular surface.

The ophthalmic solution has a protective and antioxidant shielding action against UV damage and accelerates the natural repair process. It is a unique, recognized and certified personal protective device that protects the cornea, lens and retina from UV radiation, blue light, artificial light sources and prolonged sun exposure, preventing damage caused by these sources such as photokeratitis, photokeratoconjunctivitis, cataracts and macular aging. Finally, it keeps the ocular surface hydrated and protected for a long time.

Ingredients

Riboflavin sodium phosphate (Vitamin B2), vitamin E TPGS, sodium hyaluronate, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine, water for injections, sodium biphosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium chloride. No preservatives.

Directions for use and Dosage

Open the bottle and remove the protective cap. Gently squeeze the bottle and instill 1-2 drops in each eye; repeat as needed. After use, close the bottle: any remaining contents can be reused for up to 2 months after first opening.

Can be used with contact lenses.

Warnings

The product is for external ophthalmic use only. The product is for single-patient use. Do not use in cases of known intolerance or hypersensitivity to its components. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing tip of the container. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened. If you experience any discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not use the product after the expiration date on the packaging. Keep the preparation out of reach of children. The expiration date refers to the intact and properly stored product. Before use, carefully read the instructions on the package leaflet. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Shelf life after opening: 2 months.
