Directions for use

To ensure maximum effectiveness and comfort, it is recommended that the initial fitting of the brace be performed by a qualified specialist.

General application steps:

• Preparation: Remove the waist strap (located inside the sleeve) and set it aside. Ensure the shoulder strap remains on the outside of the sleeve.
• Arm insertion: Insert your forearm into the sleeve, maintaining a 90° angle to your arm.
• Customizing comfort: The inner padding of the sleeve, at elbow height, can be detached, repositioned, or removed to optimize comfort and fit.
• Thumb support: Use the thumb loop inside the sleeve, adjustable with hook-and-loop closures for an ideal fit.
• Closure: Secure the sleeve with the hook-and-loop closure.
• Shoulder strap positioning: Adjust the shoulder strap around your neck, positioning it on the side opposite the affected limb. The tubular shoulder strap padding can be adjusted. can be moved for greater comfort.

Specific use for abduction immobilization:

• Preparing the abduction cushion: Take the cushion, unroll and remove the strap wrapped around it. Detach the hook and loop strap from the outside of the cushion and reposition it along the inside of the arm sleeve.
• Positioning the cushion: With the cushion's snap hook facing forward, place it between the body and the sleeve.
• Application of the supplementary cushion: Secure the supplementary cushion to the abduction cushion using the hook and loop straps. The cushions should be at waist height.
• Attaching the Arm Sling: Attach the arm sling to the inclined side of the supplemental cushion using the hook-and-loop fastener.
• Important Note: For 15° abduction, use only the primary abduction cushion.
• Attaching the Waist Strap: Place the strap around your waist, insert it into the rear loop of the abduction cushion, fold it over, and secure it with the hook-and-loop fastener.
