Product Description

Rhizogib Orthesis is a medical device designed to stabilize the trapeziometacarpal joint of the thumb in cases of rhizarthrosis, providing pain relief and functional improvement.

Indications

Orthesis for stabilizing the trapezium-metacarpal joint in the functional position of the thumb, maintaining the mobility of the other fingers and the prehensility of the hand. Rigid radial splint for relative immobilization of the first ray of the hand. Comfortable padded lining. Elastic wrist band and thumb tab with Velcro closure.

The medical device provides thumb stabilization. The medical device provides pain relief and functional improvement in cases of carpometacarpal osteoarthritis.

Directions for use and dosage

Place your hand in the orthosis so that the splint is aligned with your thumb and the last knuckle is free. Tighten the Velcro closure on your wrist to provide firm but comfortable support. Pull the Velcro tab around your thumb, passing it between your thumb and index finger from the dorsal to the palmar side. Then secure the tab through the Velcro closure.

To wash: hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring out gently, and let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
