Product Description

The Gibaud Ortho Lombogib Lady21 5 is a Class I lumbosacral corset indicated for low back pain, lumbosacral sprains, and sciatica, providing stability and pain relief.

Indications

Class I medical device. Indicated for lumbar conditions that may benefit from movement restriction, such as:

• muscular low back pain;
• lumbosacral sprain;
• chronic low back pain;
• sciatica.

The medical device provides greater stability and pain relief. and a limitation of movement in the lumbar spine. It also provides relief from lower back pain.

Features: patented V-shaped posterior splint with dynamic recall action. Patented ventilated Aeralis fabric is breathable, lightweight, and has a microfiber lining. The characteristics of the Aeralis fabric allow the belt to be worn even in direct contact with the skin. Anatomical shape suitable for the female physique.

Directions for use and dosage

Wear the corset over a light garment or in direct contact with the skin. Orient the tip of the V-shaped splint downwards. Position the corset so that it is centered on the lumbar spine and the lower edge is at the height of the coccyx. Check that the corset fits snugly around the lumbar spine and, if necessary, shape the splints. Apply symmetrical traction and close the corset with the Velcro closure.

Wash gently at 30°C, rinse well, wring out gently, and let dry flat. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, or dry clean.

Warnings

Do not prolong use of the product without medical advice. The product has been designed for use by a single person; do not use it on multiple people. The product should not be used in direct contact with broken skin. If you experience any problems while using the product, such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional. In the event of a serious incident following use of the product, contact the manufacturer and your local healthcare professional. We recommend gradual withdrawal of the medical device, possibly combined with functional physiotherapy. Patients suffering from pelvic floor weakness should consult their doctor before using the medical device. It is advisable, for the first time, to have the product fitted by a qualified operator and to independently perform subsequent fittings using the same methods. The product must be disposed of in accordance with current regulations; the packaging and leaflet should be disposed of in paper waste bins.

Contraindications

Do not use in cases where compression is required. Contraindicated.

Storage

Store in a dry place, away from excessive heat and light.
