Solution for disinfecting and cleaning damaged skin.
Master Aid Disinfectant 1g/100ml is indicated for cleaning and disinfecting damaged skin: superficial wounds, first-degree burns and bedsores with involvement limited to the epidermis.
Active ingredients: 100 ml contain 1g of chlorhexidine digluconate.
Excipients: Citrus essence, purified water.
Apply to the affected area an amount of solution appropriate to the extent of the lesion 2-3 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Paediatric population: the The safety and efficacy of this drug in children have not yet been established.
The product is for external use only; use, especially if prolonged, of topical products may give rise to sensitization phenomena; in this case, discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.

Paediatric population: The use of chlorhexidine solutions, both alcohol-based and aqueous, for skin antisepsis prior to invasive procedures has been associated with chemical burns in neonates.
Based on available reports and published literature, this risk appears to be more serious. high in preterm infants, particularly those born before 32 weeks of gestation and in the first 2 weeks of life.
Important information about some of the excipients: this medicine contains citrus flavoring which contains citral, citronellol, coumarin, farnesol, geraniol, limonene, linalool.
Citral, citronellol, coumarin, farnesol, geraniol, limonene, linalool may cause allergic reactions.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents.
Paediatric population: interaction studies have only been performed in adults.
Intolerance may occur in some cases. (burning or irritation), which is otherwise inconsequential and does not require modification of treatment.
