Medical device that acts rapidly against stomach bloating, heartburn, heaviness, and flatulence caused by excess gastric acidity and/or associated with dyspepsia, thus promoting the digestive process.
Indications
Class I Medical Device (Directive 93/42/EEC). Non-sterile. Indicated for heartburn and stomach pain, cramps, rumbling, a feeling of tension, belching, and flatulence. The device contains simethicone, which, due to its antifoaming action, is used to relieve symptoms related to excessive gastrointestinal gas, facilitating its elimination. In fact, simethicone reduces the surface tension of air trapped in mucus and food bolus. Excessive gastric acidity that causes symptoms such as heartburn is reduced by the presence of calcium carbonate, potassium citrate and sodium citrate, which neutralize gastric acids through an acid-base chemical reaction.
Composition
Sorbitol, Calcium carbonate, Tribasic sodium citrate, Silicon dioxide, Simethicone, Citric acid, Sodium bicarbonate, Maltodextrin, Lemon flavoring, Potassium citrate, Sucralose, Acesulfame K.
Directions for use and Dosage
1 or 2 sachets per day after main meals or when symptoms of burning and/or pain are felt.
Open the sachet and pour the contents into a glass. Add water and dissolve the contents before taking.
Warnings
Do not use for prolonged periods. Do not exceed the recommended dose without first consulting your doctor. In cases of hypercalcemia and renal insufficiency, consult your doctor before use. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not administer to children. The device may interfere with the absorption of oral medications. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor and in any case wait about 2 hours before taking any medication. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking it. Do not use after the date printed on the package and sachets. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product. No adverse reactions are known from using the device. If you experience any reactions, stop taking it and consult your doctor. The expired or discarded device must be managed according to local disposal regulations for this type of product.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and protected from humidity.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 36 months.
