Indications

Dermocortal is used in the treatment of steroid-sensitive dermatoses, contact eczema, dyshidrosis, insect bites.

Ingredients and Composition

Dermocortal Cream contains:
Active ingredient: Hydrocortisone 0.5 g.
Excipients: Glycerol and polyethylene glycol palmito stearate, polyglycolysed isostearic glycerides, glyceryl monostearate, phenoxyethanol, methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, isostearyl isostearate, liquid paraffin, perfumed essence, purified water

Dosage and Directions for Use

Spread Dermocortal cream: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times a day, rubbing in lightly.

Warnings

Contraindications

Known individual hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone.
The use of hydrocortisone is contraindicated during viral, bacterial, and fungal infections.
The cream is not for ophthalmological use, nor should it be applied to the periocular area. It should not be used for vulvar itching if associated with vaginal discharge. The use of topical products, especially if prolonged, may cause irritation or sensitization. In this case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to determine appropriate therapy.
In children under 2 years of age, the product should be administered only when strictly necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor. Avoid prolonged applications, especially on large surfaces.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In pregnant women, the product should be administered only if strictly necessary, under the direct supervision of a doctor.
